BBJ Reports 125% Revenue Increase in First Nine Months of 2002

Tampa, November 8, 2002

BBJ Environmental Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: BBJE.OB - news) today announced that in the first nine months of 2002 revenues from product sales increased 125% compared to the same period in 2001. Jerry Schinella, President, stated, "The Company is no longer hindered by its lack of distribution of our products. This significant improvement in our financial results demonstrates continued progress in our drive to profitability and we anticipate our sales growth, assisted by expanded wholesale distribution, heightened Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) awareness and further EPA product approvals, to continue throughout 2002."

Revenues for the three months ended September 30, 2002 were $177,072, compared to $106,374 for the three months ended September 30, 2001, an increase of 66%. Total operating expenses increased to $406,624 for the three months ended September 30, 2002, compared to $376,122 for the three months ended September 30, 2001. For the three months ended September 30, 2002, the Company realized a loss of $291,608 as compared to $303,437 for the three months ended September 30, 2001, a 4 percent decrease from the comparable period in the prior year.

Revenues for the first nine months ended September 30, 2002 were $555,325, compared to $246,636 for the nine months ended September 30, 2001, an increase of 125%. Total operating expenses increased to $1,506,097 for the nine months ended September 30, 2002, compared to $1,206,819 for the nine months ended September 30, 2001. For the nine months ended September 30, 2002, the Company realized a loss of $1,140,634 as compared to $1,048,353 for the nine months ended September 30, 2001. Without the one-time charges totaling $240,000, the net loss for the current first nine months would have been $900,634 or a 14 percent decrease from the same period in the previous year.
