Nashville Press Release
BBJ Environmental Solutions provides
assistance to hard hit music industry
Tampa,
May 14, 2010- One of the facilities severely impacted by the
flooding last weekend in Nashville was Soundcheck, a large warehouse complex
near downtown Nashville where touring artists rehearse prior to
tours and store their props and equipment between tours. Almost five feet of water
flooded the storage areas.
This was an area that not only had never flooded, but,
logically was not at risk for flooding. Those storing equipment
either had no flood insurance or were grossly
underinsured. Many well
known and loved artists lost most, if not all of their
property, in this disaster.
In addition, many others in the music industry lost
homes and businesses as a result of the flood.

BBJ
Environmental Solutions responded to the need both by sending
donated disinfecting, odor control and mold inhibiting products
and Owner Bob Baker traveling to Nashville May 10 through 13th
to give advice and direction to those attempting to salvage
equipment and restore property to operation. Mr. Baker is a well known
authority in prevention of mold growth and remediation of mold
and water damage. He is
a Fellow of the American Society for Heating, Refrigerating,
and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and was Chair of the
committee that developed the ANSI/IICRC S520 Standard and
Reference Guide for Professional Mold Remediation.

BBJ
Environmental Solutions joined long term customer Fresh Aire
Solutions of Southwest Florida in providing advice and
restoration services to several businesses and numerous artists
in recovering from the flood disaster. Fresh Aire
Solutions Owner, Ed Ciofani remarked, "These are some
great people who have had their lives turned upside down. It was an honor and pleasure
to provide even a little help and we wish we could have done
more."
