:: OUR MARKET

Americans spend as much as 90% of their time indoors. It’s no wonder that indoor air quality has become a major concern in this country! And rightly so. The Environmental Protection Agency estimates that indoor levels of many pollutants is 2—5 times, and on occasion 100 times, higher than outdoor levels.

Mold is a major contributor to poor indoor air quality (IAQ). When mold colonies grow, they produce spores and mycotoxins, both can cause allergic reactions in about 20% of the population. Mold also is a known trigger of asthma attacks. Some molds can even cause serious health concerns including infections, dizziness, chronic fatigue, and memory loss.

BBJ employees are passionate about helping protect the population from the negative affects of mold wherever that threat may occur. This includes commercial buildings like schools, hospitals, and the places where we work as well as your home or apartment.

Our market is the buildings of the world. And that, indeed, is a very large opportunity.

In the United States alone, this market could be over $6 billion dollars if every building owner/manager followed the best practices of building maintenance to prevent the growth of mold.

But BBJ Environmental Solutions is not only a U.S. enterprise. We are working to bring our solutions in mold prevention to the entire world. Buildings in Bangor Maine face the same challenges as those in Bangkok. BBJ will need world class talent to address a global market!
