DESCRIPTION
BBJ MicroBiocideŽ for Air Ducts controls and inhibits the growth of microorganisms - such as bacteria, fungi, and mold - that grow in the ductwork of HVAC systems.
- Dark, moist areas (like ductwork) are ideal for the growth of mold and other contaminants.
- Molds produce allergens, irritants, and in some cases, toxins that may cause reactions in humans. Symptoms include allergic reaction (hay fever, runny nose, red eyes, skin rash), asthma attacks, and infections.

APPLICATION
BBJ MicroBiocide for Air Ducts is specially formulated to control and inhibit the growth of active microorganisms in all kinds of ducts and HVAC components including:
- Unlined sheet metal ducts.
- Air supply and return ducts fabricated with wood, plywood, or OSB.
- Flexible air ducts fabricated of metal or plastic.
- Air handlers, mixing boxes, transfer boxes, plenums, transitions, turning vanes, dampers, fans, and fan housings.
One gallon of finished product covers 1,000 square feet of metal or flexible ducts through fog (mist) or wipe application.

DIRECTIONS
BBJ MicroBiocideŽ for Air Ducts is a two-part formulation. The active ingredient BBJ MicroBiocide crystals need to be dissolved in the inert BBJ MicroBiocide Diluent solution. Then mix with 5 gallons of tap water or 3 ounces of solution with 1 gallon of tap water. It must be applied evenly throughout the duct system. Spray application is recommended for large surfaces. BBJ's Power Sprayer (model 902) is ideal for this application. Simply spray the product into openings every 8 feet of the duct system.
