Concentrated Detergent HVAC/R Evaporator & Condenser Coil Cleaner

DESCRIPTION

BBJ Micro Coil Clean, with its highly effective detergent-based formula, is specially formulated for preventative maintenance use for removing soils and deposits from cooling coils. It effectively cleans and deodorizes evaporator coils, heating coils, condenser coils, window units, air filters, blowers, and other dirty HVAC/R components. BBJ Micro Coil Clean is safe for all metals, including aluminum. Its special detergent-based formula contains no harsh acids or caustic chemicals. It also contains no solvents, no phosphates, or releases no VOCs. It is so friendly, you can even wash your hands in it.

APPLICATION

BBJ Micro Coil Clean is designed with special engineered surfactants to avoid the harsh acidic and caustic chemicals most coil cleaners contain. Its readily biodegradable cleaning ingredients are scientifically combined producing a coil cleaner that is mild for the user and harmless to expensive HVAC/R equipment and the environment. It is, however, a highly effective preventative maintenance cleaning compound.

Many acid and alkaline cleaners on the market today, clean in part by causing a chemical reaction between the cleaner and the metal that destroys the surface of metal. This type of chemical reaction damages coils causing system inefficiency and failure. These cleaners also expose users to dangerous chemical concentrations. Tests have shown that up to 90 percent of the weight of aluminum coil stock is lost by soaking in these types of cleaners for as little as four hours. BBJ Micro Coil Clean is designed to avoid the damaging effects of these cleaners.

BBJ Micro Coil Clean removes built-up dirt and grime from coils resulting in improved system efficiency, reduced power consumption, and increased system life. Dirty coils or coils damaged by harsh cleaners cause many HVAC/R systems to fail.

To maintain HVAC/R systems at top-peak performance, visually inspect cooling coils every three months. Upon inspection, if coils appear dirty they should be cleaned immediately, but no less than once a year.

DIRECTIONS

Read label directions carefully before using product.

1. Mix 1 part BBJ Micro Coil Clean to 20 parts tap water for normal (maintenance) cleaning of coils. Mix 1 part BBJ Micro Coil Clean to 10 parts tap water for maxi-mum cleaning action on heavy soiled coils.
2. Shut system off and thoroughly saturate coils from the bottom up using suffi-cient pressure to penetrate to full coil depth.
3. Wait 3 to 5 minutes and rinse with tap water.

SAFETY DATA

Keep Out of Reach of Children. Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental contact, flush with water. If irritation persists, contact a physician. Do not take internally. Wash hands after using. See Material Safety Data Sheet for personal protective equipment requirements.
