Mold growth on cooling coils

Mold, mildew and odor causing bacteria grow on evaporator coils because it is a moist environment. It is critical to stop mold growth on cooling coils before it gets out of control causing danger to inhabitants and bad odors (aka dirty sock syndrome). When mold spores land on the wet surface they begin to grow and reproduce rapidly. Cleaning the evaporator coil and managing mold growth can be a simple two step process. First, clean the coil with  Power Coil Clean will safely remove the mold. Then treat the coil with Maintain C-1 for HVAC to inhibit future microbial growth.
